Oxjam Birmingham announce 2014 Line Up
The full line-up has now been announced for this year’s sixth annual Oxjam Birmingham music festival, taking place on Saturday the 18th October.
The festival, which is part of a national initiative conducted by renowned international charity Oxfam, and is run entirely by volunteers, prides itself on putting on the most exciting new talent in some of the best venues the city has to offer.
This year’s line-up consists of over 60 acts across 6 venues, with highlights including Curb, Byron Hare, Modern Minds, Jet Pack, Iris, The Mighty Young, Steady Hands, Establishment, Haze, Abel Gray, Dantanna, Lauren Pryke and Alex Moir.
The venues hosting this year are The Flapper, The Sunflower Lounge, The Oobleck, Talk, 6/8 Kafe and Island Bar. In addition to this, secret sets will also be held on the Frederick Canal Barge and in Left For Dead Records in the Custard Factory.
The festival will run from 12pm to 2am, with after parties at both The Flapper and Island Bar featuring DJ sets from Kerrang! DJ Johnny Doom, Victories at Sea and Dantics.
