Digbeth-based collective DIE DAS DER have released details of their inaugural two day festival, which will be held at The Wagon and Horses in Digbeth on 9 and 10 August.

YR WELCOME, BIRMINGHAM will feature 24 acts across two stages, with DJ’s into the small hours. Audiences should expect the highest calibre of noise that the second city has to offer, with plenty of surprises thrown in for good measure.

The event will also feature a display of work from otherfotos.com, the Birmingham-based photographers who will be covering the event.

A spokesperson from Die Das Der said “The idea for Yr Welcome, Birmingham came about following successful shows across the first half of this year for Die Das Der, including the takeover of the Sun at the Station in Kings Heath for Record Store Day. The festival will act as a centrepiece for the year, and features a range of acts that are fully getting behind Die Das Der’s aim to better highlight and mutually support the musically obtuse, abrasive and intriguing from Birmingham and further afield.”
