V Festival @ Weston Park 19th and 20th August, 2017

In 1996 Pulp front man Jarvis Cocker had a wild idea, he desired to play two different outdoor stages in two days. Two gigs, two days, two stages. In August of that year it happened. With two stages and one tent a small festival sprung from the ground, becoming what we now know as V Festival.  So what to expect from the 2017 roster? Well, this year V Festival promises excellent music in spectacular locations in which you will be surrounded by incredible friends and fans.

V Festival, like other massive music festivals, touts an impressive 2017 roster. Some of the headliners include shows from Jay Z, Ellie Goulding, Stormzy, Pink, George Ezra, James Arthur, Ella Eyre, Sean Paul, Clean Bandit, and JP Cooper. These acts are merely just a handful of the insanity that will be the V Festival line up. What can we get from this lineup? Well it seems that there is something for everyone at this year’s festival. From punk to pop, EDM to indie, every ear will be happily pleased with the diversity of this year’s lineup. Along with the headliners, there are also numerous smaller artists who continue the diversity of music. The line up promises a great weekend of hits and new favorites.

Along with great music, V Festival also offers two unique locations, making it easy to get to one of the two V Festivals. Hylands Park is a lovely open area that offers the perfect summer escape from crowded cities and work. With easy access, the park is easy to get to for those who do not want to slave over travel. Weston Park also offers a picturesque escape, with easy access from every major train and bus depot. V Festival also teams up with Big Green Coach, so travel could not be simpler. The location and ease of getting to V Festival make the weekend a mindless adventure. There is no worrying about traffic or backroad journeys, rather one can pop over easily and settle in without any glitches.

So the music is grand, the travel is easy, what more can you want? Well perhaps something to think about is who else will be travelling to V Festival alongside you. V Festival attracts a giant crowd of music lovers, just like you. With the range of music genres you will find a range of fans, so finding a new friend with your new favourite musical act will be easy. Along with this the festival touts itself on its warm and welcoming vibes. You won’t feel like just a mere commodity, or another member in the crowd, but rather at V Festival you will become one of the family, entering into a new loving community for the few days.

V Festival may be a major festival, but it is a major festival that still retains its goodness. Touting an excellent lineup along with an easy access location and family feel, V Festival mixes all of the best pieces of festival life into two days of pure brilliance. So what’s next? Well, go get yourself a ticket and we will see you there!
