It’s been a long time on the road Northern Ireland’s best band – The Answer – given that their support slot with the mighty AC/DC (which included a gig in Birmingham) saw them clock up well over 100 shows. But that hasn’t dampened their appetite to keep on touring, and now they’re back in the Midlands with a show of their own. |

There is no doubt about it, I am very excited to be at the Wulfrun Hall tonight for what promises to be an evening of electronic euphoria with Gary Numan celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of ‘The Pleasure Principle’ album. However, before I can experience the glittering golden array of Gary’s back catalogue I must first endure the delights of Dirty Harry |

So tonight, for me should have been a night of some of the best dark metal that is currently on offer from two of the largest bands of the genre Sweden’s Katatonia and Yorkshire’s finest Paradise Lost. |

Originally this gig was billed with talented UK band Evile in the opening slot. However, due to the tragic death of bass player Mike Alexander earlier this month, it is Entombed who take up the primary slot. Which means we are in for an evening of vintage Swedish death metal from start to finish. |

A late starting April 21st show at the Wulfrun in Wolverhampton saw two excellent bands play to an eager crowd, the first act of the night was a solo artist going by the name of Fink, who simply sat in the centre of the stage with nothing but a guitar, microphone and an amazing set of songs. |
