Al Green Gabrielle opened tonight's show to what was initially 60% of the NIA Academy's capacity. During her set late arrivals continued to pour in, yet this did nothing to deter her performance. A modest supporting band and backing singers who somewhat lacked finesse didn't make for an unforgettable performance, although Gabrielle herself was on form vocally and genuinally excited to be supporting Ali G!

YouMeAtSix I arrived at the Wulfrun earlier than usual, after hearing that people had been queuing since before I had even woken up. It was true. At 6 o clock the queue was round the corner of the venue, mostly consisting of teenage girls with faces full of metal. Some were surrounded by M&S bags, looking as though they had been there since about 6 in the morning. That’s what I call devotion...

V Festival This year's widely anticipated V Festival came aggressively straight for us. With her guns blazing, she blew away anyone who was lucky enough to get in to the 60,000 capacity arena. The success of the weekend truly rested on one act and their extraordinary ability to put on the most intense and simply awesome performance you may of ever witnessed.
