Qujaku for The Sunflower Lounge 13th May, 2017

This Saturday Birmingham Promoters bring the psychedelic skills of Qujaku to The Sunflower Lounge.

QUJAKU are a Japanese psychedelic band formed in 2013 and based in Shizuoka, Japan. Their music is described as “gothic dark shoegaze”, bringing to mind the likes of The Horrors, but with hints of Scandinavian post rock a la Sigur Ros, noise rock and psychedelia.

Formerly known as The Piqnic, the band followed their debut album ZyouK with an EP titled Keiren, the first release under the Qujaku umbrella.

Supported by The Courtesy Group and History of Sex the full review will be on here next week.

Tickets available here
