Peter Hook & The Light Announce European Live Dates
Peter Hook & The Light continue their European Tour into February with an appearance at the Assembly in Leamington Spa.
The band will be performing their “Movement” and “Power, Corruption And Lies” show for the first time in Western Europe along with the sole recently announced UK gig, all across January and February.
Performing the albums in full alongside the singles and b-sides from the 1981 to 1983 period including “Everything’s Gone Green”, “Temptation” and “Blue Monday”, the dates with the full albums also see the band perform a Joy Division set in support as “Slaves Of Venus”.
The first dates see a long awaited return to France with The Light performing a Joy Division and New Order highlights set at Salle De Carnet, Le Mans on Thursday 23rd January 2014 before coming to The Rockstore, Montpellier on Friday 24th January 2014,.
All the other dates see perfomances of the “Movement” and “Power, Corruption & Lies” set, beginning with a return to Melweg in Amsterdam on Friday 31st January and a sole UK date at The Assembly, Leamington Spa, Saturday 15th February.
In late February, The Light are to play the debut two New Order albums with three dates in Italy, beginning Monday 17th February at Circolo Magnolia in Milan, the following night in Rome at Spazio Atlantico at Tuesday 18th February before rounding up at New Age Club in Roncade Wednesday 19th February.
The end of that week sees the band in Strasbourg Friday 21st February, playing at La Laiterie, rounding off at Le 106, Rouen back in France on Saturday 22nd February.
Tickets are now available for the first French dates, Amsterdam and Leamington Spa. Ticket details for the end of February dates will be updated as these go on sale.
