The Moseley Folk Festival will be returning to the beautiful setting of Moseley Park, Birmingham on 29th — 31st August 2014 with its biggest line up to date, and there are only a few tickets left!

Following another sell out year in 2013, which was headlined by Ocean Colour Scene, Edwyn Collins and The Dublin Legends (Formerly The Dubliners), the festival is now into its ninth year.

The opening night, Friday 29th August, will be headlined by ex-The Smiths guitarist and chief songwriter; Johnny Marr. Regularly cited as one of the most influential guitarists of all time by the likes of Rolling Stone, Johnny Marr has become synonymous with some of the most classic guitar riffs of all time including “This Charming Man”, “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out”, & ‘How Soon Is Now?”. He will be bringing his new solo material to the festival as well as playing some of The Smiths classics for good measure.

The Saturday will be headlined by a true legend of the folk world; Richard Thompson. Richard was a founding member of seminal UK folk band Fairport Convention but it was in his solo work where he secured his folk legend status.
