Macaulay Culkin’s Pizza Underground to play Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds
Ever dreamt about that kid from Home Alone starting his own Velvet Underground tribute band but changing the lyrics so that all the songs were about pizza?
Of course you have!
Well, you’ll be thrilled to hear that The Pizza Underground, featuring Macaulay Culkin, will be performing at The Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath on May 26th 2014.
Expect to hear future deep-pan classics such as All the Pizza Parties, Take a Bite of the Wild Slice and Pizza, It Hurts as part of their their Fresh to Your Door Tour.
The group got together in early 2012 and have performed a number of gigs so far, including Comic Arts Brooklyn and a Lou Reed tribute show at anti-folk landmark the Sidewalk Cafe.
