Hot on the heels of his 2015 Outsiders album Jess Malin embarked on a UK tour this month to accompany the re-release of a remastered version of his classic 2002 debut, The Fine Art of Self-Destruction.
Malin’s remarkable career has seen him release a raft of acclaimed solo albums, be nominated for the Shortlist Music Prize, receive four star reviews in Rolling Stone, Uncut and more, and collaborate with artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Green Day, and Wayne Kramer along the way. On this tour he played The Institute, supported by New York-based singer-songwriter Don DiLego and Milwaukee’s Trapper Schoepp. Brum Live’s Chazino Suban was there to capture the event.
