Blues/Rock artist Gabriella Jones will play at a brand new venue within the O2 Institute, The Blue Room this Friday 22nd July. Gabriella will be supported by Deny All RobotsThe Melting Wings and Wave, one half of whom is Brumlive.com’s one and only Mr Dave Musson.

Gabriella has played the Wireless Festival and Hard Rock Calling Festivals in Hyde Park along with the Isle of Wight Festival. The Birmingham singer-songwriter teamed up with musical supremo John McLaughlin following the release of her EP ‘Hey You’ last year and has already supported massive acts like Bon Jovi and Slash at festivals and played at the LG Forum Live before acts such as Beyonce, Black Sabbath and Rihanna.

Gabriella has recently been made Patron of Breakthrough Breast Cancer West Midlands and was nominated for Music Artist of the Year at the West Midlands Women of the Year awards. She will be supported by an eclectic bunch: deny all ROBOTS: Deny All Robots describe themselves as “everything you love about grunge and punk rolled into one 3 headed bite sized chunk”, The Melting Wings will be showing off their pared down, urgent form of three-piece grunge, and off course Wave will be simultaneously exciting and funny, continuing to defy the rock duo stereotype.

Birmingham Promoters will present a new weekly Friday night at the brand new venue. Formerly called The Congregation and The Dragon Bar, the venue is on the first floor of the O2 Institute Birmingham. Tickets for the event are available from the o2 Institute.
