Foo Fighters, The Cure and Kasabian Headlining Leeds and Reading Festivals

Foo Fighters, The Cure, and Kasabian will headline this summer’s Reading and Leeds festivals on 24th to 26th August.

On Friday at Leeds, and at Reading on Sunday Foo Fighters will headline at the twin event with their only UK appearances of the year.

The Cure play Leeds on Saturday and Reading on Friday, their only UK shows this year. Kasabian will make their only festival appearances in England and Wales of 2012 at Reading on Saturday, and closing Leeds on Sunday.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday will have Paramore with their only uk festival appearance at Reading & Leeds Festival 2012, with Bombay Bicycle Club, You Me At Six, Crystal Castles, Angels & Airwaves, Coheed & Cambria, Cancer Bats, and Deaf Havana also confirmed.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday will have Florence + The Machine second from top of the bill. Also confirmed are The Vaccines, Enter Shikari, The Shins, OFWGKTA, Mystery Jets, and Blood Red Shoes.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday will have The Black Keys making their only UK festival appearance. That day will also see performances from Kaiser Chiefs, Bullet For My Valentine, All Time Low, The Gaslight Anthem, Eagles Of Death Metal, Band Of Skulls, and Pulled Apart By Horses.

With additional stages and venues the festivals will host over 150 bands this year.

General sale tickets are on sale now priced at £197.50 for a weekend ticket. Early entry tickets enabling festival goers to get into the site on the Wednesday are also available priced at £15, with campervan passes priced at £60, and lockers £15. Day tickets will be £85 for any day.
