Barn on the Farm 5th to 8th July, 2018

Nestled in the midst of a quaint farm just outside of Gloucester, Barn on the Farm is a stellar festival that continuously hosts the newest and hottest. In the early weekend of July, the festival runs 5-8th of July, the warm afternoons and vibrating sunsets give the festival a truly magical undertone, only heightened with the sound coming from each and every stage. With previous headliners that include the likes of James Bay, Ed Sheeran, Tom Odell and many more, the festival is often touted as the best to catch for the next big thing.

Barn on the Farm continues highlighting the best and brightest, the future stars; headliners this year include a double dose of Tom with Tom Grennan and Tom Misch filling the top of the bill. Both artists are powerhouses in their own genres, bringing Tom Grennan’s sultry bluesy singer songwriter power with Tom Misch’s experimental indie ease. Their headlining slots promise to offer a different type of sound, both complimentary in artistry and brilliance.

Joining the Toms are a slew of insanely brilliant acts including Dermot Kennedy, Tom Walker, Lewis Capaldi, and Lewis Watson. Each of these artists brings a unique spin on the singer songwriter genre, bringing a warm and familial feeling to the barn.  If the singer songwriter vibe is not necessarily your go to, do not fret, bands like Aquilo, Sunset Sons, and Gengahr are joined by numerous others bringing some rock and funk to the farm.

Barn on the Farm is a festival like no other; with a truly communal familial feel the farm is transformed for a weekend of insanely talented music. This year’s line-up boasts incredible artists with unique sonic tones, creating a masterpiece of sound and sights. Like an expertly woven tapestry the weekend is one not to miss, so make sure to block out 5-8 July on your calendar and grab yourself a ticket!
